Admitted to practice in New York and North Carolina, Mr. Court is a 1999 graduate of Albany Law School and a graduate of the State University of New York at Fredonia.

Stephen grew up on Long Island, NY and graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy, concentration in law, in 1996 from the State University of New York at Fredonia before being admitted into Albany Law School in New York. During law school Stephen assisted the Government Law Center at Albany Law School with research for legal commentary on municipal law, land use, zoning and planning. He also worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles where he drafted the analyses of administrative appeals filed under the New York Vehicle and Traffic Law. Following graduation in 1999, Stephen accepted a position as assistant corporation counsel for the City of Schenectady where he was in charge of the City’s tax foreclosure proceedings. During his tenure at the City, Stephen also acted as counsel to the Zoning Board of Appeals and inherited the role of City prosecutor for enforcement of the City’s code regulations.

Stephen supplemented his City Counsel position with his own private practice of law in Saratoga Springs, NY, where he provided legal services for real estate transactions, wills, debt negotiation, bankruptcy law, and litigation of cases involving criminal defense, family law, and collections. During his career Stephen saved multiple innocent homeowners from the consequences of predatory lending and also won a case against a local public school system attempting to remove a student from enrollment for not having Hepatitis B immunization.

Immediately prior to joining Wells, Daisley and Rabon, P.A., Stephen was in-house counsel for Amideo Nicholas Guzzone & Associates, P.C., a reputable personal injury law firm in New York, where he was responsible for pre-trial litigation of personal injury cases involving auto accidents, slip/fall accidents and no-fault law.

Stephen currently handles a variety of legal matters for clients while assisting Jameson Wells and Brendan Dilashaw in their respective areas of practice.

Stephen is admitted to practice law in the states of New York and North Carolina.
